you taking advantage of our Why write a check when all you need to do is pick up a phone? When you enroll in our Direct Payment Program, all you do is call your local office. Tell us that you want your loan payment transferred from your business checking account and applied to your Farm Credit loan balance. We do the rest. How the Direct Payment Program works If you call before 1:30 p.m., we'll instruct your bank to debit your account that day. After 1:30, your request will be sent the next business day. In addition, your Farm Credit loan statement will reflect the payment amount and date paid. Once you are enrolled in the program, just call us whenever you'd like us to transfer money from your checking account and apply it to your Farm Credit loan(s), including recurring transfers. Tell us the amount of the desired transfer. (Call before 1:30 p.m. to ensure a timely transfer.) Direct Deposit Checking Program All it takes is a phone call and we'll transfer the money to your business checking account (usually within 48 hours or less) - and you can begin writing checks right away. That's it. No office visits. No forms. No lost or stolen checks. How Direct Deposit Checking works After you enroll in the Direct Deposit Program, we'll notify your bank that we may be depositing funds in your checking account. Then, when you request money, we'll deposit the funds in your business checking account within 48 hours. You never see a check. Next, you can write checks for supplies, equipment, emergency repairs or anything else that you need to run your business efficiently.
